The Village is packed with family-friendly activities from the playground and skating rink at Whistler Olympic Plaza to the soap stone carving classes at Fathom Stone Gallery and cultural experiences at the Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre. Family Après is all about experiencing winter outdoor fun with the kids, the Canadian way. A variety of entertainment and family activities that change from week to week - snowman building competitions, tobogganing, storytelling, roving characters, music, mini hockey, snacks, hot beverages and more. Every Monday and Wednesday starting Dec 22 (excluding Dec 31) from 4:30pm to 6:30pm (All activities are weather permitting).

Kids' Night Out! (New this Year)

An evening program from 5:30 to 9:00pm for kids aged 5-12 years, available over select holiday dates that includes activity, dinner, drinks and snacks. Activities will change depending on the evening. Kids should come dressed for outdoor activities with snow pants, jacket, gloves and snow boots. All activities are weather permitting. (Tuesday - Ice Skating, Friday - Tubing, Saturday - Cross Country Skiing) Price is $59 per night.

Magic Castle and Tree Fort

Magic Castle & Tree Fort

These outdoor play areas provide a fun adventure playground for families to find and explore while taking a break from skiing or snowboarding. The Magic Castle is located on Blackcomb Mountain in the Children's Adventure Park, which is accessible via Easy Out, just above the base of the Catskinner Chair and the Tree Fort on Whistler Mountain is located just off Bear Cub trail near the Big Red Express chairlift.

Meadow Park Sports Academy

Meadow Park Sports Academy

This multipurpose facility provides a wide selection of services and amenities including a six-lane pool, kids' pool, sauna, steam room and hot tub. The complex also houses an arena, squash courts, weight room and a fitness studio.

Whistler Olympic Plaza offers free skating in mid-December and was the site of the 2010 Winter Games' Victory Ceremonies where the athletes stepped up to the podium to receive their medals. ($5 skate rentals and free helmets are available.)

Soapstone Carving Classes

This is a great off mountain activity for all ages 3+ . Classes include the 1 hour pendant, 1-2 & 3 hour inukshuk, 3 hour 2-D wildlife, 4 to 6 hour 3-D bear, or 6+ hour freestyle classes. You get to take home your completed soapstone carving made in the heart of Whistler Village. Starting at $75. Fathom Stone Art Gallery is open from 8am -10pm.

Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre

The Squamish Lil'wat Cultural Centre is a cultural activity for the whole family. The centre celebrates the joint history of the Squamish and Lil'wat Nations.
