About the Home

Arrowhead Point 16 is an inviting two bedroom, two bathroom, one level townhome offering spacious comfort, a private hot tub, and a serene and forested setting on Blackcomb Mountain. Located near the top of Painted Cliff Road, this unit is only steps to the free shuttle that runs to Blackcomb base and Whistler Village, and offers easy ski access to Blackcomb's Cruiser run.

Living Areas

The living area features comfortable furnishings, a gas fireplace, a flat screen TV and DVD player. The well-appointed kitchen features heated floors, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances and overlooks the dining area that seats 6 comfortably. The dining room provides sliding door access to the private deck that features a BBQ, private hot tub and forested views.

Bedrooms & Bathrooms

The master bedroom features a queen bed and flat screen television. The master ensuite features heated floors and a jetted bathtub with overhead shower. The second bedroom features two twin beds. The separate bathroom features a spacious glass-enclosed shower and single vanity.

Added Conveniences

Arrowhead Point 16 offers secured underground parking for one vehicle and a bike storage lock-up area, in-suite laundry and complimentary wireless internet access. Please note to access the unit from the road or parking garage, one must climb down a set of 12 stairs and short set of 4 stairs with a path leading to 2 more steps down to the front door. For skiers and riders, Arrowhead Point is only 100 metres to the Lower Cruiser run on Blackcomb Mountain. Simply walk across and up Painted Cliff Road for 100 metres to access the ski trails adjacent to the Coast Blackcomb Suites and Painted Cliff townhomes. Many intermediate skiers choose to ski home to their unit via the Home Run trail when conditions permit.

The unit was beautiful, very nice. Location was great, nice to be out of the village & somewhere quieter. Really liked the trees at the back of the townhouses. On the down side, the deck in the back where the hot tub sits is broken, it looks like the hot tub might go right through it at any time ! It's a tripping hazard as part of the deck is quite caved in. Also, there were ants in the bedroom with the 2 twin beds. We weren't comfortable sleeping in there. Lori and Erin from Whistler Platinum were very friendly, very helpful - thank you ladies ! That first point of contact when you make a reservation and/or arrive is so important and you did a fabulous job of making us feel welcome !

Very nice place. Nice quiet location. Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Would stay at this location again. My only complaint is that you weren't allowed to be in the hot tub past 10pm. And we were unaware of the $1000 damage deposit they put on your credit card..... Maybe I just didn't read the fine print??

new washer and dryer and new flat screens are great, please update photos of living space, chest of drawers (drawers all fall out) in the kidsroom and Wardrobe sliding door is still broken as two years ago, the screen door to the terrace was still repaired with tape, also the sliding door the terrace is broken, the lock has been broken here.
Otherwise we were very happy, a very nice apartment, we felt at home there and will come back.

We arrived late in the evening and found it difficult to find the check in building and the condo building at night without a map.
The condos are split in 2 levels above and below the garage. There are no directions in the garage on where the units are located. With a lot of stairs and heavy suitcases it was a tortuous process to find our unit.
We received no directions to go from the unit to the slopes. Again we had to guess and ask around. A small map would have been helpful.

This property was not our original choice. But this was supposed to be an upgrade. The actual property was great. Clean and very comfortable. However, I think it had not been serviced for a long time, as there were a few things we found did not work/or faulty. The main toilet did not flush properly, and the sink in that bathroom did not drain. The tumble dryer did not work well. The door kept flying open, therefore we could not leave it and go out. The fire in the main room was not working, and the double bed felt like there were broken springs on the left side. There were also a lot of huge ants in the property. I know that we were living in the country, but in the morning in the bouble bedroom, we would find about 10-15 huge ants in the room. Also in the kitchen and the main bathroom.

Apart from this, the property was very comfortable and very easy to relax in.
We would definitely come back.

Minimum Age Requirement

The minimum age requirement for 4+ Bedroom units is 30 unless accompanied by a parent or guardian. The minimum age requirement for 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units is 25. Guests can be denied check-in if they do not meet the minimum age policy.

Payment and Cancellation Policy

Summer Season - May 1 to October 31: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of rent plus tax is taken at the time of booking. The balance of your stay is automatically charged 30 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 30 days of arrival, the full amount will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

Winter Season - November 1 to April 30: A non-refundable deposit of 30% of rent plus tax is taken at the time of booking. The balance of your stay is automatically charged 60 days prior to arrival. For bookings made within 60 days of arrival, the full amount will be charged at the time of booking and is non-refundable.

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and bank transfers. Payments are non-refundable once processed.

Security Deposit

Each reservation will be required to provide a security deposit at the time of check-in in the form of a credit card pre-authorization. The security deposit will range from CAD$1000 and up to CAD$5000 for estate homes such as Kadenwood. The pre-authorization will be released by the credit card provider approximately 2 weeks after departure provided no charges are incurred for excess cleaning or property damage.

Extra Person Charges

Rates are based on the bedding in each property. Adults sleeping on a pull out sofa bed will incur an extra charge of $50.00 CDN per person per night plus taxes. There is no additional fee for children under 18 years of age.

Housekeeping

Daily housekeeping is available for an extra fee. Stays of eight days or more include a complimentary midweek clean. All properties offer laundry facilities either in the unit or in the building.

Parking

All properties have a specified parking stall for one vehicle**. Some larger properties have two parking stalls. Parking instructions are unique to each complex and must be followed.
** The Aspens, Le Chamois Hotel and Glacier Lodge have paid parking in affect, payable on site.

Internet & Telephones

Wireless Internet access and all local telephone calls are free.

Hot Tubs

All hot tubs are maintained regularly. Guests use hot tubs at their own risk. Occasionally, hot tubs may need to be shut down for maintenance to protect the health of users.

Smoking

All of our properties are non-smoking. Any unit with evidence of smoking inside will result in a $500 fine.

Pets

Pets are not allowed. There will be a $500 fine for any pets or evidence of pets found in the unit.

A completed guest pre-arrival form must be submitted a minimum of 15 days prior to arrival or the reservation may be subject to cancellation.
