Under the Gondola's
John S. from Edithvale, VIC, Australia stayed here in January, 2012
e enjoyed a wonderful holiday at Cedar Hollows 12 in January, the condo is perfectly located between the mountains of Whsitler and Blackcomb. Not ski in or out but just a short walk to the slopes each day. The condo itself was very spacious and clean, only criticism was the lack of televisions, I know you don't fly all the way from Australia to canada to watch tv but with teenage children fighting over the remote control, another one would have been great! The owners supplied a large welcome basket which was greatly appreciated. We would highly recommend this condo and Whistler Platinum.

Family Holiday January 2012
A guest from Carindale, QLD, Australia stayed here in January, 2012
We were very impressed with Whistler Platinum's customer service and our Town Home was lovely and in a very pretty, quiet setting. Good position for skiers, but if not skiing, a little difficult to get to the village as Glacier Dr. is not serviced by the free shuttle bus service - the taxi service, however, is very efficient. Overall, a great holiday.

Disappointing
A guest from London, London, United Kingdom stayed here in December, 2011
The location was fine if you have a car. The shuttle bus only runs in the morning and evening, so without a car, it is difficult to access town during the day as there are no sidewalks down the hill to the village. Ski in ski out location was excellent. The walls are extremely thin. We heard every move of our neighbours in the morning, parties in the evening as well as every movement anyone made in our own house.
We had someone sleeping on the pull out sofa bed in the den. This sofa bed should absolutely not be considered for sleeping, even for children. The hot tub is a nice thing to return to after a day on the slopes, but this hot tub had so much chlorine in the water that we all smelled for days of chlorine, despite scrubbing and washing and creaming. We used it once because it was so overloaded with chemicals. Staff was very friendly and helpful by email before we arrived. Check in was fine although the person showing us the house was not helpful in regards to the questions we asked (transportation, etc.). She said she would email the information re shuttle transport and never did. We had ordered a Christmas tree in advance which was decorated nicely enough but the price was very steep.
The toilets did not flush well and we had to have them contact a plumber. We had been told on check in that it would not be a problem to check out around noon as they had no further reservation after us. On the day of checkout, we were contacted at 10:15 am and told that we would be charged a fee if we didn't get out within 20 mins. Cathy denied having told us we could stay until noon and was very rude. They also claimed that they had called the night before to confirm check out, and we did not get any phone call at all. We did receive an email which I read after we had departed from Whistler. Whistler is a great town and fantastic skiing, but we would never use Whistler Platinum again. It was absolutely NOT value for money.

Good location - 10 mins walk from Whistler village. Well appointed kitchen, good broadband performance. Only downside was the size of two of the bedrooms, which were very cosy for 2 people to say the least!

furniture is a bit dated but to be expected in a rental property. The location was great and the unit was very roomy (bedrooms were set up for a family -one master and 2 for minors - not couples). I would strongly recommend this to anyone who wants easy access to the lifts (we mountain biked) and the village.

Great accomodation, location tricky
Ben C. from Vancouver, BC, United States stayed here in March, 2011
Fantastic place to stay, had a great time, skiers and boarders will have no issue with the location, 100m walk to the runs, walking to the village not so easy, very short drive but walking is either on the road or up/down the runs.

Nice place... Service details need to be worked on....
Gary S. from Langley, BC, Canada stayed here in March, 2011
great place and layout. ski in ski out was nice. Fire place didn`t work.. Needs a chimney sweep. Upon departure our rental Mini Van couldn`t get up the hill because the snow hadn`t been cleared at 10:00am... could not get any traction.. It was a lot of snow though. When we tried to use the grocery service... It wasn`t until after I recited our whole list that the lady mentioned that they only could get a handful of items.. This defeats the purpose and was a waste of 10-15mins.

When the attached unit was occupied, the basement bedroom area smelled very strongly (!!) of whatever the guests choose to cook. We were forced to open windows for relief and with the -10 temperatures, it really wasn't ideal.

We travelled to Whistler with three daughters, and the staff at Whistler Platinum could not have been more helpful and pleasant. They were happy to take care of everything from restaurant bookings and wine and grocery deliveries through to Christmas trees and decorations! The company seems to have a great eye for detail (Aveda soap, shampoo etc) as well as the big picture - regular house cleans, follow-up calls during your stay. We would definitely use them for any future Whistler visits.

Summer in Whistler
Andrew L. from North Yorkshire, ., United Kingdom stayed here in July, 2010
We really enjoyed our stay at Cedar Hollow. The property was spacious, clean and well equipped. The location was excellent being a 5 minute walk from Whistler village.Would recommend to families especially with older children as the property had lots of individual and group space and was handy for gondolas, shops, mountain biking etc.Don't miss Lost Lake area too.

Hot tub never worked. After three days in a row of golf it would have been nice.
