Forest Trails is a comfortable 1,500 square foot three-bedroom townhome, conveniently located in the upper village just behind the Four Seasons Resort Whistler. The restaurants and shops of the upper village and the slopes of Blackcomb mountain are only a short 7-10 minute walk away. Guests can also ride the free shuttle to Whistler village and the base of both mountains which stops outside the complex.
As you enter the home, there is a powder room to the right. The hallway opens up to a fully equipped kitchen accented by wooden cabinets and wood trim. For entertaining after a day on the hill, this home offers a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, microwave and separate dining area.
A cozy living area on your right features a fireplace, TV, VCR, CD player stereo and a cushioned window seat. The sofa in the photo above has a pull-out bed.
The main bedroom, which has a king bed and private ensuite with Jacuzzi bath, is located on the top floor. The other 2 bedrooms are also located on the top floor. One is equipped with a queen-size bed, the other with two twin beds. The main bathroom can easily be accessed from the two rooms.
Forest Trails offers easy access to the Valley Trail and some excellent cross-country skiing trails around the beautiful lakes of Whistler. During the summer months, be sure to check out the gorgeous scenery and take advantage of the parks for some swimming, picnicking and mountain biking.

The unit needs some minor attention and maintenance. For example:
- shower curtains were moldy
- closet door in the foyer doesnt open w/o rubbing the ground. It rubs a LOT. Not easy to open; therefore we avoided using that closet.
- There is some kind of leak from the bathrooms upstairs into the kitchen (left of the stove)
- There is a hodge podge of pots and pans that barely met our cooking needs
- the parking pass we were given was broken, so we couldnt hang it on the rear view mirror. Despite the fact that I put the pass on the dashboard we were towed. The towing company was RUDE and WRONG and it cost us over $250. I feel like the rental company is partially responsible since the pass they provided was broken to begin with.

Great place to stayThere is a ski path from the location behind the chateau which brings you to bottom of the blackcomb, it is much faster than getting the bus. Enjoy

The family all had a great time over Christmas and New Year. The house was very comfortable and warm and we felt very at home there. There was a slight disapointment that we were unable to play DVDs brought from the UK on the equipment in the house but, that was the only negative. I do suggest that guests are made aware of the short cut to the Blackcomb base, which means that it's accessible by a short walk, instead of waiting for the bus (although this is a very good service). We only found the short cut on our last evening and couldn't believe how much easier it would have been for us, had we known about it! Our thanks to all at Whistler Platinum, especially Erin Lea, who did a fantastic job for us. We would certainly recommend you to anyone.
