Wedding party perfection

We rented the property to attend our son's wedding at Nicklaus North. It was PERFECT! The townhouse accommodated our family, friends dropped by and overall we had a wonderful time. The only hesitation I would have is that the patio is prone to the odd wayward golf ball, so beware.

whistler Vacation

Maintenance issues; Dishwasher didn't work, back door didn't close, light in master suite in bathroom wouldn't turn off. These probably should be taken care of before others rent. Property is great, but washing dishes the entire time of the stay was a bit of pain.

Comfortable, Spacious, Well Appointed Mountain Home

Prior to arriving in Whistler we called ahead as instructed to do. The guest staff was very welcoming, professional, and gave simple directions to their check in desk. Check in was very easy, simple direct directions for use of the property and in under 5 mins we were escorted to the home by one of the staff - which made locating the property seamless.

Upon arriving at the home we were given instructions on how to use all of the features including the grill, hot tub etc, and were asked if everything was to our liking. We were also told if we had any questions the front desk was staffed 24 hours and to just call anytime!

The condition of the home is wonderful and what you'd expect at a 4.5 or 5 star hotel (i.e Four Seasons). All surfaces were exceptionally clean, even the garage and laundry room. More so than a hotel room!

The community is very quiet and there are ample walking trails, cc ski trails outside the house. There is also a large yard and patio area that our son enjoyed playing on.

We simply don't have anything bad to say about our experiance. A couple very minor points would be we couldn't find any oven mits in the kitchen and there are no towel hooks or bars in the bath rooms. Also, as others have indicated, the lighting in the master bedroom is VERY dim but not a huge deal.

Bottom line, if you want a 5 star experience in Whistler, I would recommend Whistler Patinum!

great for families

We had two families sharing the house with young kids. It was a great arrangement for kids, and lots of space for them to play during the day. Only downside is the distance to the village, but the scenery is beautiful and the space was great. It was an easy drive into the lifts.

Excellent vacation home.

Excellent vacation house on all fronts. Only area of improvement would be to install soem downlights in the master bedroom as its very dark and the side lamps are not enough.

Great quality condo, worth the 10 min drive the slopes. taxis abundant for night time transportation. Whistler Platinum staff v helpful before and during the stay. Great ski holiday setup.

Great Vacation

We loved our 4 day stay at the Nicklaus North home. Great layout with the kitchen/dining room/living room altogether. We especially enjoyed the cross country skiing right out the back door. The downhill skiing is only a 10 minute drive. Very quiet, relaxing area.

Awesome Place

Great place to stay with a large group. Would stay here again. Everything worked, except for the Stove Fan, but not a big deal, everything else was great. Will be booking this place again.

our annual stay at Goldenwood!

We have now used platinum the past 6 or 7 years and they have never let us down. Erin is great, she will meet us at our unit and enjoy talking to her about Whistler every time. We will definitly stay with them again!!!

we had a nice stay until our last full day, the 19th. Started this day by discovering the stove did not work as I attempted to make family breakfast. The gas/propane had been disconnected to the house. Further we had no gas/propane through out the day which also affected temperature control of the home. Contractors were in/out of the house until 10pm that evening working on the gas conversion! This final day pretty much sucked.....

Would have been nice to have a television in the main living area.

the only negatives on the property were:
1) the TV den was small and could only seat 3 comfortably.
2)the lighting is poor which made it heard to find a place to read at night.
3)3 golf balls landed on the back deck which did not allow for very relaxing drinks in the evening!!
otherwise great!

We had a wonderful vacation at this property. The neighborhood is beautiful, and the view from the back patio is great. It was a little odd to us that the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom upstairs had twin beds instead of the queen, but it worked out fine. The property was beautiful and had everything we needed for a great stay.

Great Property in Whistler

We had a wonderful time at the 8337 Goldenwood property on the Nicklaus North Golf Course in Whistler and plan to return again. We especially thank the management company for taking care of all the details--it was a pleasure to have such personal service. Thank you!

The property was very good but most important was the profesional courtesy of Erin Lea (manager) she did a spectacular job!!

The only issue that I have to complain is the kitchen, there is not enough appliance as glasses, kinfes, spoons, trays, etc.. Very dificult to cook for more that 6 people with what you found there.
However everything was almost perfect, I´ll be back next year.

great time at whistler

If you're not going to stay in the village this is the way to go - great house - easily slept 8. We used the grill and the hot tub nearly every day. Nice to come home to a house as opposed to a hotel room. Definitely the way to go for large groups. The heated floors and fireplaces were awesome.

Feels like home

This was our 5th or 6th time in these unit at Goldenwood and now feel like it is our home away from home. What wonderful units, and all of you make our stay easy and relaxing. Thank you so much!
