Spotless, comfortable, spacious and welcoming

Our family of 5 spent 8 nights in this lovely chalet - a home away from home. We always rent houses rather than stay in hotels and this house confirmed that we are always right to do so - we felt as if we were in a wonderful (tidier!) version of our home. It was easy to find everything we needed, everything (lights, heating etc) worked well. Beds were exceptionally comfortable and linen was crisp and clean. Bathrooms with heated floors were a bonus, as was large number of glasses, crockery and cutlery. Super-quiet dishwasher was very impressive. Only small suggestion (made to management) is to provide simple instructions for the garbage crusher, music system and tv system. Perfect for large families, friends etc. Highly recommend and we hope to be back.

Grand Juniper Round 2

This was our second time staying at the Grand Juniper for an extended family gathering and it was marvelous. Whistler is an amazing place in the summer and the Grand Juniper is in the heart of it all. And when we did stay at home, there was plenty of room and entertainment for the kids while the adults were able to catch up and relive old times. Another great stay.

A 3 night shortish stay

Overall the experience was enjoyable however ther were a few negatives. In general the beds were uncomfortable. Second, we were surprised by the absence of boardgames. Also, one would expect a discount on green fees for the golf course while staying at Nicklaus North, this was not the case. Last, some doors were very creaky - this disturbed sleeping babies.

Whistler Birthday Vacation

We had a great time in a beautiful setting. Whistler gave us many adventure options to chose from during our stay. The house was excellent for a group of ten that we had. When we travel to Whistler again we will use Whistler Platinum for our arrangements.

Once in a Lifetime Location

This place was amazing, from the heated floors to the in-house steam room. It is spacious, clean and the surround sound system goes throughout the entire house. There is a lot of privacy. The only hiccup was the surround sound system. It took the staff, who were very professional and prompt, about a day to get the system working.

Great property

We spent a week at the Grand Juniper Chalet in August. The concierge staff was extremely friendly and helpful, gave good suggestions for activities, places to eat, etc. The home was everything we expected, and MORE! The kitchen was a dream to cook in and
had all of the necessary implements and some we were pleasantly surprised to find (garlic press, salad spinner, fish grill rack). Beds, towels and linens were comfy and clean. The only challenging thing was the entertainment system and the lighting. Otherwise,

TV reception is poor and were unable to watch the Stanely Cup playoffs.

Fantastic Ski Vacation Home

We've stayed at the Grand Juniper 3 times now. It's simply one of the best possible places to stay for a 8-10 person group. From the huge kitchen, dinning room and living room area for entertaining, to the heated floors, to the storage room off the garage that dries out all your wet ski boots and cloathing, to the large bedrooms, it's a great house. Views of the Blackcomb and Whistler are increadible. Can't wait for next year!

Good times...

Everyone that came up for the boys weekend absolutely loved it. Plenty of space and lots of cool features. We would definitely consider renting this unit again or another one just like it. Erin, our point person, was extremely helpful and just nice to work with. Thanks for making our trip another success!

Paradise for Families

As a base for our yearly family gathering the Grand Juniper provided delights for the 3-year olds staying there, as well as for the 67-year olds visiting for supper. The proximity to the parks, golf, our beloved Whistler Village and everything else made our stay absolutely brilliant. We will most certainly see you next time.

It was difficult to understand the stereo system that was fed through out the house and control from each room. A quick instruction sheet would have helped to determine were the music came from so we could change the music.
