Northern Lights # 1 is an impressive three bedroom plus den town-home, perched just above the Westin Hotel and Resort, only a few minutes walk to the heart of Whistler Village. This lovely home offers great outdoor exposure through its towering floor to ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings in the living area.
Its well equipped kitchen is complete with stainless steel appliances, wine fridge and granite countertops. All bedrooms are comfortably and spacious. Located on the top floor, the master bedroom is generously sized and offers a private ensuite bathroom. Two bedrooms and one bathroom are located on the lower floor.
When you are taking a break from the outdoor activities, the media room / den is the perfect retreat for kids and adults alike. It features a huge TV, a foosball table and plenty of seating. Or after a tiring day on the slopes, unwind by soaking yourself in the private outdoor hot tub or relaxing by the fireplace.
Northern Lights # 1 is a great Whistler village accommodation choice, offering access to the village with a short 5 minute walk to the Westin Resort and Spa and a further 2 minutes to the base of the lifts. For extended families or larger groups, combine the nearby Northern Lights #15 and Northern Lights #25.
Many guests choose to walk the 7 minutes or drive 2 minutes to the base of Whistler village to access the gondola and lifts. Alternatively, more adventurous guests can access an intermediate level ski trail that connects Northern Lights to the base of Whistler by climbing 100 plus stairs which are about 150 metres from this home.

On the whole, the condo was great. Good location, very nice furnishings, and a good layout. The only things we'd change would be a larger coffee maker (the one in the unit only makes 3 cups at a time), a newer grill (the one there was old and the heat was not even), and some new speakers for the living room TV (very tinny and hard on the ears).
Besides these minor inconveniences, we were very happy on our 16-day stay.

A great, spacious and family friendly house literally a 5 minute walk walk the centre of Whistler village. It was incredibly well equipped and I would return there time after time. We used every bit of it, from the Utility area (FAB!) to the hot tub (Also FAB!) and really enjoyed our chosen property.

Good choice for a large group or family.Having a second sitting room with massive TV/table football was perfect for teenagers. It is up a bit of a hill but only five minutes walk and you are on the Village Stroll and at the lift station. Very quiet location and after walking through the centre of Whistler Village on Saturday night we knew we had made an excellent choice of location!There is not much to fault here-would rebook without hesitation.

This was a really nice place to stay. The open concept living area was great for entertaining, and the bedrooms and bathrooms are spaced out so that you have privacy from the other people you are staying with. It's a quick walk to the village, only thing is it's a pretty steep hill when walking back to the townhouse...and because we walked back to the village several times in a day, it was tough especially with hot, hot sun and baby strollers! We will rent this place again, we really enjoyed it!
