Located in the popular Northern Lights, this four-bedroom, three-bathroom, three-level home offers mountain views, private hot-tub, access to the nearby ski trails and great value for families and friends.
The garage and entryway are located on the first floor with stairs leading up to the the main living floor which features comfortable furnishings, wood-burning fireplace, vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling windows, a full kitchen and a dining area for eight guests. Enjoy views of the surrounding mountains from the balcony while tending to the BBQ or relaxing in the private hot-tub.
Also located on the main floor are 2 of the 4 bedrooms. The first guestroom features a queen bed and the second guestroom features 2 twin beds. Located on the top floor is the master bedroom which features a king bed, ample storage and an ensuite bathroom with a bathtub and shower combo. Also on this floor is the fourth guest bedroom perfect for the kids as it features a tri-bunk bed (double and twin) and ensuite bathroom .
Many guests choose to walk the 15 minutes or drive 2 minutes to the base of Whistler village to access the gondola and lifts. Alternatively, more adventurous guests can access an intermediate level ski trail that connects Northern Lights to the base of Whistler by climbing 100 plus stairs which are about 150 metres from this home.
This home has a washer and dryer, parking for two vehicles and offers complimentary wireless internet.

A nice size property that easily accommodated our group of 8. A little bit of a walk to slopes or village which we didnt mind, but if you are looking for slope side you may want to look elsewhere. Private hot tub on the back deck was key!

Northern Lights #31 - Great Summer RentalThe house worked out well for 2 families and a Grandma - there was plenty of room for 8 people. The property management team had it spotless upon arrival and was very helpful throughout our stay. We had a great time and would rent it again. The only drawbacks
are the steepness of the hill on which it is located and the sparseness of kitchen furnishings (eg 6 placemats for 8 people, 1 coffee mug).

Generally SatisfiedOverall we were generally staisfied with Northren Lights although I dont feel we would choose to stay in that particular one again for the following reasons:
*Quite 'tired' - needs a good spruce up and modernising
*Lacked pertsonal touch - would have been simple to have some board games or selection of videos in the library for the children
*The technology is very dated for a "platinum" property. No flat screen TV's, IPOD dock for stereo etc, which now seems very common in this standard of accommodation
*kitchen facilities very lacking - a little too basic
We had a fabulous visit to Whistler and had the most amazing snow I have ever experienced. I was extremely happy with the whole booking process and the helpful staff throughout. I just feel for the money - Northern Lights 31 lacked WOW factor and is quite dated. WE WILL BE BACK TO WHISTLER GAIN SOON THOUGH.

Northern Lights #31Property was great but was not even close to 'ski-in/ski-out', those steps at the end of the road up to the path to the village run/crabapple were brutal!!!
