This impressive six bedroom, ski-in/ski-out chalet is one of our most popular vacation rental homes. Perched high on Whistler mountain, above Creekside village, The Ridge offers over 4,000 square feet of spacious mountain living with cozy wood interiors, exposed log beams and an inviting wood burning fireplace. A combination of local artwork and Asian accents provide elegant finishing touches to this beautiful home. Boasting commanding views of the valley and surrounding mountains the Ridge captures the spirit of a mountain home.

For winter enthusiasts, The Ridge is only steps away from the Dave Murray 2010 Olympic Downhill which runs straight to the Creekside Gondola. Whistler Kids and Whistler ski school are conveniently located at the base of the Downhill.

For Apres-ski relaxation, enjoy a bottle of wine from the private wine cellar and soak away the days efforts in the 8-person hot-tub overlooking the slopes and valley. Or curl up in front of the open fire and take in the spectacular panoramic vistas of the Tantalus mountains from the towering windows as skiers and boarders glide by on the slopes only steps away. For easy entertaining, this home boasts an open plan fully-equipped kitchen with granite countertops and a breakfast bar. There is also separate dining area for 10 people.

All bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms are warm and inviting. The grand master suite features a queen bed, a writing desk, sitting area and offers commanding views. The bathroom has a jetted jacuzzi tub.

Perfect for a couple of families, groups of friends, or corporate entertainment, The Ridge offers increased space with a separate media room with an entertainment centre with plasma television, CD/DVD player and surround sound. A separate work area allows guests to remain productive, with a computer, telephone and wireless internet access for communication or entertainment.

My family and I had an absolutely wonderful time at taluswood, the accomodations were clean, spacious,and beautifully furnished.The location was great, just a few minutes back to the village and close to Alta Lake. It was an amazing weekend getaway. I would definately book here again.
