Super property in a convenient quiet location

This is an excellent property in a very convenient location for slopes and centre, with good space standards and very quiet. The interior needs improvement (eg badly cracked bathroom sink) but was generally kept very clean. All staff were very helpful throughout the stay. We would return to this property without hesitation - with a little bit of maintenance effort it could be stunning.

Great location and overall well equiped + furnished. Washroom is dated, toilet was not mounted to floor properly so it was rocking + loud water settling noise, bath tub/jacuzzi jets very dated. No TV in the bedroom which i would have expected that would be standard.

TV MUST UPGRADE

Enjoy mountain biking at Whistler

We stayed at the Gables which is almost as close as the parking lot to the slopes. Quick walk to the hill. Our cottage was well stocked with useful kitchen supplies for all the basics. The living room and internet worked for us. The bed could have been king size, but it was a great place to stay.

Great location for Blackcomb and Whistler

Close Quiet Convienient Great Price

Very short walk to the blacomb lift (shorter line same destination), short walk to the village. Great layout, very spacious, comfortable bed, well equiped kitchen. The only issue I really had was the lack of a can opener. The Gables definately gets 2 big thumbs up. Thank you!

Great bedding, including sofa bed, very firm, no sags, nice crisp sheets and decent pillows. Bathroom clean and great it has a bath. Kitchen very workable, could do with a little more crockery, and I personally appreciate matching sets of cutlery, plate ware and glassware where possible. The furniture was a little wobbly (coffee table and dining table so we felt a little nervous, Art on walls was nice to look at.
I was disappointed to find there was not any salt (glass shaker completely empty) or sugar left as a basic supply ( it is not always what people think to travel with ) found the rest of the stay excellent and very peaceful. Would consider renting again.

Clean, updated, comfortable condo

Saw some earlier reviews and was concerned that unit was in need of updating (old carpets, fixtures, etc). Was very pleasantly surprised to find it with a fresh, updated look and feel. Very comfortable mattress in bedroom. Had our 2 kids share the sofabed - no complaints. Ground floor location made for easy load/unload. Waste/recycling truck seemed to come at 8:30/9am even on a Sunday but, otherwise, was a great stay. Fairly speedy Internet and handy to have landline for local calls.

only problem was the screen door was off the rails so it didn't slide open and closed easily. It wasn't a big enough problem to cause any concern though. I'd like to stay in that unit again.

I think that during our stay we had one
visit from the clean team. Unfortunately the kitchen sink could have benefited from a good bleach clean. Also after their visit I noticed a large dirt stain on the carpet close to the lounge table, which was reported to wp office and sorted on a second visit.

Gables #51 was great

It didn't have marble countertops or tile floors but the layout was excellent and it was clean with new carpeting. We all agreed the location was perfect with a beautiful walk to the village. Linens, blankets and towels were good and plentiful for our family of 4.

the only issue we experienced was that we were not given the appropriate keys upon arrival therefore had to go back to the property manager to obtain the property keys required.

Location is very good. The appliances in the unit were very old and did not seem to work well.(dryer and dishwasher)Carpets were very dirty. Some staples like pepper and sugar would have been appreciated. Deck furniture would be nice to have to sit outside. Unit is older but could be very nice with a few updates, particularly appliances.

We loved the location - - we parked our car once we got there and never drove during our stay in Whistler. The condo is a 5 minute walk to the Blackcomb lifts and 8 minute walk to Whistler Village. The unit looks a little dated, but the overall condition is very good and it comes with all the amenities needed for a comfortable stay. Three suggestions - inform guests in advance that this is a ground level unit (we did not know this until we got there, although it did not affect our stay), provide either more information and/or bins for recycling in the unit, and inform guests in advance that they need to supply all condiments as well (ie., salt, sugar, pepper, etc). We also did not find detailed instructions on where/how to dispose the garbage and sort of figured it out by ourselves.

Very clean, homely and comfortable. It was helpful to have some cleaning materials, dishwasher powder etc included. The blinds in the bedroom need replacing however.
