Join us and sing with us traditional Christmas carols as well as your favourite holiday tunes around the tree. Come and enjoy the sense of community and the peace and goodwill this carol service creates. The annual Christmas Eve Carol Service takes place at the Westin Resort and Spa (Date and time to be announced). Hosted by the Whistler Children's Chorus, this interdenominational celebration features traditional carols, choral music sung by the choirs and readings. This event is by donation. All proceeds go towards continuing to be able to provide this community service.

Join Santa on the ice at Whistler Olympic Plaza. Santa will be handing out candy canes and will be available for photo opportunities. Hours of operation for free public skating are 11am - 9pm daily with exceptions on holidays. Skate rentals are available for $5.00 from 11am - 2 pm and in the evenings from 6pm - 9pm.

Watch world-class athletes flipping and twisting through a burning ring of fire and finish with a first class fireworks display. The Fire and Ice Show is performed by top members of Whistler Blackcomb's Ski & Snowboard School. This free, legendary show kicks off at 6:30 PM every Sunday (7:30pm for New Year's Eve Special Show) to March 29 in Skier's Plaza at the base of Whistler Mountain.

Whistler's First Night is a family-friendly, no alcohol New Year's Eve celebration that takes over Whistler's pedestrian only Village Stroll and the Whistler Conference Center. There is always plenty of live music, interactive arts and street entertainment for people of all ages to ring in the new year! With a zero tolerance policy toward alcohol and a great showcasing of talented musicians, actors, comedians and local artists, this is one of the top family holiday celebrations in British Columbia that blends a fun and exciting mix of performing and participatory arts !
The lively energy that is First Night gets underway at 6pm on December 31st which leaves enough time to explore and experience the celebration in its entirety before the new year is upon us. You could keep it cozy, and head to one of two indoor parties (one of which includes a Youth Dance), a New Year's Eve kid's countdown (at 9pm) or opt instead to take it outside for skating at Whistler Olympic Plaza, views of the Fire and Ice show and a Village Square dance celebration that's topped off with a dazzling fireworks display at midnight.
Areas of the Village will be secured to host this family celebrations and you must buy a ticket to enter: $15 adults/ $10 - 12 years and under. Don't miss out on your chance to ring in the new year with all of the fun and excitement that only Whistler Blackcomb Mountains can offer.
