Green River "Thriller"
Starting from the Ranch base on the placid Lillooet River, this action packed tour takes us upstream through the roaring rapids of Nairn Falls canyon and up near the base of the spectacular Nairn Falls. Amazing scenery and frequent wildlife sightings are other highlights of this tour. Our custom designed tour boats will impress adventure seekers as they maneuver through whitewater, around boulders and over gravel bars. Hang on tight for the downriver journey! The ride gets rough navigating downriver when things speed up! The Green River tour is scheduled during high water snowmelt months of June to July.

Lillooet River "Sachteen"
Highlights of this tour include navigating the large whitewater rapids in this remote river valley located within the rugged Coast Mountain Range east of Whistler Village. Perched high on a bank above the rivers edge, next to an intact section of the original gold rush trail, a traditional Coast Salish pit house, or "s7istken" (pronounced ee-sh-kin) will be available for guests to learn of the past and join the traditional welcoming ceremony of their hosts.

Part of this tradition is the sharing of food. Guests will sample local treats like fruit cobble with stinging nettle or cherry twig tea. Built from a design dating back to 2500 BC this structure is the only one of it's kind on the British Columbia coast in traditional territory available for visitation. An s7istken is cool in Summer, warm during Winter.

The four main structural support posts are symbolic of the directional points of a compass and the four seasons that make up a year. To learn of this ancient design form is fascinating and educational. Our most popular trip.
