The 13th annual Whistler Film Festival runs from December 4 to 8, 2013 and is sure to offer film buffs one of their best events yet. For 2013, cinematic excellence will remain at the heart of the mountain based Festival, which will present a focused and competitive programof up to 90 films (approx. 50 feature films and 40 shorts) from around the world across a broad spectrum of genres presented in over 90 screenings. Featuring seven film competitions and one audience award, over $31,500 will be awarded to filmmakers, including the second largest cash prize for a Canadian film in the country after Toronto (TIFF) through the 9th annual Borsos Competition for Best Canadian Feature.
