Kokanee Valley Race Series: GS  |  January 7, 2016

No racing experience is required to join in on the fun of recreational racing. Come out with your friends and race in this series held every Thursday throughout the season. Open to skiers, telemarkers and snowboarders, participants' races are video-taped and played at the Kokanee awards party where everyone has a chance to win great prizes. Please note that helmets are mandatory, and the race location and discipline vary each race. Registration prior to event day is through Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations and Ski School Sales locations. Registration on competition day is from 8:30 - 9:45 AM; location dependent on race location.

Deep Winter Photo Challenge  |  January 9, 2016

Whistler Blackcomb's 'Deep Winter' photo contest celebrates the powerful storm cycles that pound the Coast Mountains which Whistler skiers and riders revel in. Pro ski and snowboard photographers battle it out in the Photo Challenge, which features slideshows of images captured over three days on Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains. Tickets: $25

Peak to Valley Race  |  February 19 - February 20, 2016

The Peak to Valley is a long standing and unique team race on Whistler Mountain. Mixed teams of four race from the Whistler Saddle in Whistler Mountain's high alpine to an exciting finish at Dusty's in Whistler Creekside. Two team members race on Friday and two on Saturday. The starting order is based on age, with the oldest competitors starting first. Register in person prior to the event day at any Whistler Blackcomb Guest Relations or Ski & Snowboard School Sales locations.

Sport Chek Canadian Championships 2016  |  March 22 - March 29, 2016

Once again, the Sport Chek Alpine Canadian Championships return to Whistler featuring the Sport Chek National Championships March 22 to 29 and the Sport Chek Para-Alpine Canadian Championship GS and Slalom on March 28 and 29. The competition will be held at the Dave Murray National Training Centre located on Whistler's Raven/Ptarmigan runs. This is the perfect opportunity to see downhill ski racing at it’s finest - fast, furious and precise. The national alpine and para-alpine teams take on up-and-coming athletes from the provincial and club level as well as international competitors.

DC Snowboarding's  |  March 26 - March 27, 2016

DC Snowboarding’s global “Hit & Run” event merges the speed and turns of a banked slalom with the jibs and jumps of a slope style event and is designed to test a snowboarder’s all-around riding skills. Making its way around the world, this event finishes the tour off here in Whistler at the Nintendo Choker Park on Blackcomb. Pre-registration is $45 and day of event registration is $50. Winemaker Après Series on Whistler  |  March 31, 2016
