Guests purchasing the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass in advance of the season will lock in an incredible discount of up to 65% over window lift ticket prices while customizing their trip by selecting the number of days they plan to ski or ride – from one day to ten days – and whether to add access during peak holiday periods. The discount for Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass increases with each additional day a guest skis or rides. Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass purchasers can use their days throughout the 2025/26 season at Whistler Blackcomb.

What is the difference between the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass and a lift ticket?

The Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass is a pass product that provides expanded value and flexibility over lift tickets. With savings of up to 65% as compared to lift tickets for guests purchasing in advance of the season, the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass also offers flexibility to choose when you ski or ride throughout the season and doesn’t need to be used consecutively, whereas lift tickets must be used on specific dates. Whistler Blackcomb Day Passes are non-refundable and non-transferrable.

What is the difference between the Restricted and Unrestricted Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass?

There are two variations of the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass with the key difference being whether you can ski or ride Whistler Blackcomb on peak restricted dates:

Unrestricted:

-Guests who plan to ski during restricted dates can purchase the unrestricted Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass.

-Access to Whistler Blackcomb only

-No restricted dates

The Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass offers a savings of up to 65% as compared to window lift ticket rates. The Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass does not include any additional pass holder benefits.

The Epic Day Pass, sold in US dollars, offers the best value for guests who plan to ski and ride one to seven days at Whistler Blackcomb and other world class resorts including Vail, Breckenridge, Park City and more. Guests purchasing an Epic Day Pass of four or more days can also access partner resorts such as Kicking Horse, Fernie and Telluride as a portion of their total days purchased. The Epic Day Pass also offers Epic Mountain Rewards which gives pass holders a discount of 20% off food and beverage, lodging, group ski and ride school lessons, equipment rentals and more at Whistler Blackcomb and Vail Resorts’ other North American owned and operated resorts.

Both the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass and Epic Day Pass have options to include or exclude peak holiday dates. If you choose the Restricted option which excludes peak holiday dates, you will not have access to Whistler Blackcomb or any other Vail Resorts owned and operated resorts on those dates.

Who is eligible to purchase the Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass?

Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass is for everyone and allows all guests to unlock incredible value at Whistler Blackcomb when they commit in advance of the season. Anyone is able to purchase a Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass while they are on sale ahead of the season; there are no age or geographic restrictions. The Whistler Blackcomb Day Pass is non-refundable and non-transferable.

How do I sign up?

Do I have to pay for Epic Coverage?

Epic Coverage is included at no charge with all passes for the season and provides protection across a range of qualifying personal events and qualifying resort closures.

What is Epic Coverage?

Epic Coverage is included FREE with all passes and provides protection across a range of qualifying personal events and qualifying resort closures. A summary Epic Coverage is included at no charge with all eligible Passes and provides protection across a range of Qualifying Personal Events and Qualifying Resort Closures, some of which are described below.

Qualifying Personal Events may include job loss; job furloughs over six months; mandatory Stay-at-Home order from your County, State or Country; injury, sickness or death; student transfer; pregnancy; visa rejections; military transfer; and more.

Qualifying Resort Closures may include disease (e.g. COVID-19); war; terrorism; or natural disaster (as defined in the Epic Coverage Terms & Conditions).

You may be eligible for a full or prorated refund, depending on your refund coverage selections, if you experience a qualifying event between December 7 through April 17. Please note, the use of your Pass at any time throughout the season will affect your refund eligibility and refund amount, but will not affect your ability to submit a refund request. How do I sign up for Epic Coverage?

There is no sign-up required for Epic Coverage.

Upon purchase, your Pass(es) will default to “Core Season and “All Resorts” elections under Epic Coverage. You will receive an around November 1, with instructions to customize your protection for your Pass, including how to make, update or change your Epic Coverage elections, including the selection of Priority Days. Guests who do not customize their elections for their Passes under Epic Coverage before the applicable deadlines for doing so will remain defaulted to the “Core Season” and “All Resorts” elections.

Please note, Epic Coverage elections do not change the access of your pass; they are strictly used to determine refund eligibility and the amount should a Qualifying Event occur.

Epic Coverage Refunds

How is my Epic Coverage refund determined?

Epic Coverage provides refunds for certain resort closures that occur during the Core Season (December 7 through April 17) due to disease, war, terrorism, and covered natural disasters. If a Qualifying Resort Closure occurs, refund eligibility and amount will vary based on the type of Pass your purchase, your Epic Coverage elections, and the number of days you use your Pass.

If a Qualifying Personal Event prevents you from being able to use your pass, you may be eligible for a refund. Your refund eligibility and amount will vary based on the type of Pass you purchase, your Epic Coverage elections, and the number of days you use your Pass.

The use of your Pass at Partner Resorts or outside of the Core Season, including early season use of EDGE Cards (or other products with similar offerings), will count towards the number of days you have used your Pass for purposes of determining the amount of any refund for which you may be eligible.
