Blackcomb Helicopter

Unquestionably the fastest way to travel to and from Whistler is via helicopter. Take in the breathtaking scenery by air. Flights depart directly from Vancouver International Airport and arrive at the Whistler Heliport. Everybody should be so lucky to travel this way!

Sales tax and an additional fuel surcharge will apply to all charter/transfer rates. Rate does not include transportation to/from designated landing area at Vancouver International Airport (South Terminal) to the main terminal, approximately 10 minutes by taxi or limousine. The estimated cost for Taxi is $15.00 and for limousine $75.00.

Luggage Restrictions:

  • Due to limited cargo space, passengers are permitted to carry one (1) piece of surface luggage per person. Additional luggage needs to be transported via ground. 
  • Should flight seats not be filled to capacity, additional luggage space may be available. 
  • All of our helicopters have an external basket to carry ski and golf equipment.

Ground Transportation:

  • Ground transport is necessary for the transfer of large baggage, exceeding the size of a standard carry-on bag. It can also be used as a back-up transportation option in the event of marginal weather where an air transfer is not possible. 
  • Cost: $400 + 5% GST = $420.00 
  • Included: Transportation of all luggage between YVR airport and Whistler. Transfer of passengers between YVR Domestic or International Terminal and Heliport at the South Terminal.

Additional Details:

  • Free Shuttle between Whistler Heliport and Whistler Village 
  • Transport between South Terminal Heliport and YVR Airport can be provided for $90.00 if baggage transport is not already required. 
  • Ground transportation will be paid directly to supplier

Other Information:

  • Flights must depart Whistler 1.5 hours before sunset, or from Vancouver 45 minutes before sunset. 
  • We recommend 1.5 hours between your arrival at YVR and departure time of helicopter. 
  • All flights are subject to weather conditions, availability of aircraft, and civil emergencies. 
  • Reservations cancelled within 24 hours will be assessed a 100% cancellation fee. 
  • No charge to guests for cancellations due to weather.

NOTE: Proof of Vaccination and a valid photo ID bearing the same name will be verified at the time of departure. All customers must supply their own face masks to be worn at all times during the flight and when inside Blackcomb Helicopters buildings.
