A very popular Whistler canoeing and kayaking route under a lush canopy of trees and greenery that reconnects one with nature - almost immediately. The mountain views are spectacular as you paddle down river through a wetlands area, viewing an abundance of waterfowl and birds.
RIVER OF GOLDEN DREAM TOURS
The tours take you from Alta Lake to Green Lake along a slow moving crystal clear class 1 river. Paddle softly, keep your voice down and eyes open. Animals, reptiles, and birds are plentiful in this area. Learn about Whistler’s history, geography, flora, and fauna. Choose between a canoe or single or double kayak. Our knowledgeable and qualified adventure guides will show you paddling techniques. Water levels are always changing and this tour is always an adventure, be it fast moving water in the spring or obstacles like beaver dams in late summer.
