Enjoy an afternoon of fishing the evening rise on a beautiful trout stream. Or choose a daylong float down a rushing Steelhead river or a 4x4 adventure to a backcountry Trout lake or a helicopter ride to fish the estuary of a remote coastal creek in pursuit of our unique sea run Cutthroat Trout. Or enjoy a fishing trip for Salmon where you may see Bald Eagles as you fish for Salmon.

Feel like a quiet afternoon with rod and lure in hand, while the kids swim and play? Whistler features numerous lakes where you can enjoy a quiet morning or afternoon fishing (catch and release only). This requires a fishing license purchased online here.

Fishing Seasons:

  • Spring: Steelhead, Rainbow and Cutthroat Trout and Dolly Varden Char.
  • Summer: Rainbow, Brook and Cutthroat Trout, Dolly Varden Char and Salmon.
  • Fall: Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Vardon Char
  • Winter: Steelhead, Salmon, Rainbow Trout and Dolly Vardon Char

Fly Fishing Tours

Whistler offers quality fly fishing with all the amenities of a world-class resort to come home to at the end of the day. Lunch is included on the full-day trips. On the half-day trips, a light snack is provided. 

 Please Note: All participants 16 years and older require a valid fishing license. Please visit: http://www.fishing.gov.bc.ca/ to purchase, print and bring with you.

Please note that we are unable to process same day or next day bookings for activities. We require a minimum of 24 hours to process requests and obtain confirmations from our partners.
