Whistler Sport Legacies
Visit Whistler Olympic Park nestled in the Callaghan Valley and learn about the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. The Whistler Olympic Park was home to the 2010 Winter Olympics Nordic events and is located in the Callaghan Valley, 18 km south of Whistler. The facility hosted the biathlon, cross-country skiing, Nordic combined, and ski jumping. Located between the ski jumps and cross country area there is a Day Lodge which has a gift shop, cafeteria, washrooms, lounge and rental center.
Whistler Olympic Park and Sliding Centre Tour
Visit the small and large ski jumps and let your informative guide teach you about the Biathlon, Nordic Combined Events and Cross-Country Skiing. There is also an option to fire a rifle at the Biathlon site! Then head over to the Whistler Sliding Centre on Blackcomb Mountain and tour the Bobsleigh, Luge and Skeleton Event Sites while learning about the athletes and their stories.
Duration: 45-minutes
Suitable: For all ages (walking required, no stroller/wheelchair access possible)
Schedule: Daily at 11:00am
Season: July 1st to Sepember 4th
