Falcon's Nest

We very much enjoyed our stay at Falcon’s Nest. The house was great and comfortably fit our group of ten. Plenty of space for parking, nice hot tub. Nice quiet location just a short ride away from the mountain. The parking pass provided for the mountain village was very convenient, right around the corner from the gondola.

place was great. Only thing I would change is add a TV in the great room or a pool table!!! Place was great and roomy. fit a group of 8 guys comfortably. Would definitely recommend!

The house was large with plenty of room for 10 people. The mud room was great for all of our ski clothes after a day on the slopes. Heated garage and the reserved parking pass were a big plus. A TV in the larger living room would have been nice, with 10 people in our group that like to watch movies after a long day on the slopes, we couldn’t all sit in the other TV room. One other improvement may be to get new mattresses, a couple of them were worn out. Other than that, house was great.

Beautiful, spacious property in upmarket neighbourhood. It even boasts a lift to get you between floors. The photos do not do justice to its generous scale. Perfectly located a couple of miles from Whistler Village and very close to Lakeside Park (Alta Lake) and Whistler golf course. We enjoyed Kayaking on the river of golden dreams starting at Alta Lake and running on the trails around the golf course.

I would highly recommend this place. It’s not super Uber fancy, but it’s nice inside and that that’s a great spot for parking. It’s also really close to everything and it was very clean and good for a big group.

I gave it a 5-star rating because the house was wonderful, but I considered a 4-star rating because of one thing. The elevator was not working. That was disappointing due to the fact that from the garage up is four floors and we had luggage and groceries, etc., plus several of us have trouble with our knees. Otherwise, it was a beautiful house, great kitchen, well stocked, very comfortable beds, and reasonably priced. Response time by Whistler Platinum was excellent to all of my concerns and requests.

I recently stayed at Falcon's Nest Estate for a work trip with colleagues, and it was outstanding! Located in Blueberry Hill, this spacious home offers everything for a comfortable stay. The spacious kitchen, living and dining room were perfect for our needs and made our stay delightful. The large deck and hot tub were perfect for unwinding and the well-appointed bedrooms provided ample privacy. Overall, Falcon's Nest Estate exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it!

There were 2 skylights in the childrens room and Whistler Platinum arranged for someone to come by ASAP to darken the room so they could sleep. After that, we all slept well and the trip was a success! The children loved the house, especially going in the jacuzzi in the beautiful backyard after dinner.

Highly recommend for big groups and families. Loved literally everything about it, the only thing to note is that it is extremely tall and lots of flights of stairs if there are elderly people. The grandparents with us had the option of the elevator to the second floor bedroom which was nice.

We had a great stay at this house in Blueberry Hill. It had room to spare for our 2 families with kids. It was a great place to relax after spending time skiing up on the mountain. The Whistler Platinum team responded promptly to all of our questions and requests. Note that this house if 4 stories so it has a lot of stairs, but we just used that to warm up our legs for skiing/boarding. The hot tub was great and having a parking spot in the Pan Pacific Hotel made it especially convenient to park in the village. One thing to note about the parking garage is that the max clearance might not allow for an SUV with a rooftop cargo box which was the situation for the family we went up with. Our midsized SUV with ski rack was fine, so we got to take advantage of the parking pass. Overall an excellent stay and would recommend it!

Highly recommend this beautiful place, especially to skiers/boarders. The house is set up with a ski rack and glove rack to dry off gear, a hot tub to rest and recover, and a short walk to the nearest bus stop to get you into the heart of Whistler villager in minutes. The house itself is very spacious with a full bathroom on each main floor and enough bedrooms to sleep the whole crew. The pictures on AirBnB really can't do this place justice, it's much nicer. As icing on the cake, the check-in is seemless and the check-out is basically just doing the dishes (much simpler than most AirBnBs these days). Plus, they offer to donate any un-opened food that might be leftover after your stay to local food banks.

Our group of 10 stayed here for a week of skiing and it was ideal. It was enough space to fit 3 vehicles and only a short distance to the base of the mountain. We made multiple trips daily because it was so close and never inconvenient. The home is cozy and very spacious. It never felt crowded. The two living spaces were great and the office was nice for a little extra space and for those who had some work to do. We all agreed to stay here again!!

Great experience. The house is amazing and the communication with property manager was easy and straightforward. Very close to village so easy taxi or nice walk if you’re up for it. Tons of space and great backyard space with hot tub. Would definitely love to stay again. Wasn’t sure exactly what to do with our trash and the parking pass in the village didn’t work for us. The location said they changed their permit or something but we just paid to park and it was no big deal. Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful home.

We loved this big house in the trees! The location was perfect for an active family as it is a couple min bike ride (5ish min walk) to the trail system. The treed setting was just lovely on a hot summer day! (And would be gorgeous any time of year). The house is extremely well equipped and the supplies (soaps, d/w soap, shampoo, etc.) are very generous! Great quality also! The kitchen is truly fully equipped (there was even a roasting pan). The very few problems I had were quickly and beautifully addressed (e.g. the coffee maker died on us but a beautiful brand new one was quickly delivered to our doorstep). Love this place and will definitely return. (Oh don't forget the big huge hot tub is AMAZING!!)

House was much larger than we expected. Only hiccup was the elevator not working and we were never notified prior to arrival. Had to ask for maintenance to come to fix a light, was fixed within an hour of a response. We had 3 vehicles and a bike and still had room to spare parking wise. Really enjoyed our time there! After months of COVID-19 travel restrictions being lifted in BC, Whistler was was so needed for the family. The folks at VRBO and Platinum made this so easy. The property was excellent in every way. It is well cared for, spacious and Clean. The property being sanitized was our main concern due to coronavirus. They nailed every aspect of Insuring our safety. The spaciousness of the property allowed 8 people to find their own space. The kitchen and dining area was perfect for large family sit downs breakfast lunch and dinner. The hot tub and large deck were fabulous after a day of biking. The valley trail and multiple bike paths, Lakes and beaches throughout the Whistler Area were fantastic. Platinum’s property management folks were outstanding in the customer service And communication that they gave us. I highly recommend this property and the company. We will return. Tom

Incredible place. Everything was spotless, the space is beautiful and very open, the mess room is literally perfect for gear, hot tub worked like a charm, as did the grill and all other amenities. Probably the best property I've stayed at in a very long time, wish it were mine!

The house was amazing for our group. The best thing about the house was the amount of levels it had. For the people that wanted peace and quiet, they upper level rooms were quiet and secluded. For the people that wanted to enjoy a hot tub after the ski day we had the downstairs to enjoy and socialize. The house was amazing and hope we can stay there again if we come back to Whistler. The property manager was so welcoming and helpful during our stay as well.

Our Family of 9 stayed very comfortably in Falcon's Nest for 7 nights in Dec/Jan. It is a lovely log style chalet home at the end of a small lane with bush land to the side and back of the home making it very picturesque and private. The house is very well equiped with everything you would need for a long or short stay. The rooms are all very comfortable and nicely decorated. The house is a 8 min drive to Whistler Village or about 25 min walk. Our family had a wonderful stay and had so much fun tobogganing down the driveway and having our daily snowball fights out the front. The Whistler Platinum staff were great to deal with and we highly recommend their service and staying at Falcon's Nest in the beautiful Blueberry Hill Estate.

The advertising for this property is not current - the elevator was not usable. While we appreciated that housekeeping came half way through our 10 day stay, it would be good to have that information documented on the information sheet so that personal items could be put away. Ali, the Guest Services manager, was very helpful when contacted during our stay. The check out procedure was different on the information sheet to what was sent by email the night before departure.

We had a great time at this place, the beds are really comfortable, the kithen has everything you need to cook a complete dinner, the jacuzzi was amazng. The only bad thing we could find at this place is that the bunkbed room became really cold at night and it even had a very small leak on one of the celings windows. We talked to Whistler Platinum and they immediately sent an electric heater.

My family and another family recently spent 9 nights at the Falcon Nest property in Whistler in June/July. The property was amazing -- exactly as described. In addition, the entire Whistler Platinum Team was amazing. In addition to a gorgeous property, every step along the way your team was professional, polite, and even went beyond the normal call of duty. Even before we booked, Michaela and Elke answered every single question we had, including walking me through the whole property over the phone for a half hour so I could get a better sense of the layout. When I mentioned that we might need some dark sheets to black-out the office for the baby's crib, we were impressed to find that your team had already lined the windows with construction paper before we arrived. And during our stay, Patrick and the rest of the gang were incredibly responsive. For example, the master shower wasn't draining properly (turns out there had been a build up of hair), and they sent a plumber that day. Same goes for when we ran out of propane for the grill. We've stayed in numerous VRBO and Airbnb homes, but this experience ranks highest on the list for service. Thank you again!

We were a group of 8 who stayed here 10 nights in February. The property was spacious and clean except for some spider net on the wall in the first floor bed room (no big issue). The gas fireplace in the main living room went on stike a couple of times but it was then swiftly fixed by the property management. A group of squirrels usually threw a party in the early morning hours on the roof which can be a bit disturbing to the people in the two upper bedrooms (if you are not an early bird). This feature was also noted by a previous guest. Overall we had a really good stay here and we loved the hot tub after a long day in the mountains.

My family of 10 stayed at Falcon's Nest for a week and found it a great place. It's very close to the Village but also not far from the snowshoeing, skiing and snowmobiling we enjoyed. It is well maintained and very clean. The couple of small glitches we experienced were dealt with efficiently and quickly by management, who were great from start to finish. The elevator was such a bonus for us as well. I would definitely stay at Falcon's Nest again.

The home is lovely, suitable for our extended family that at times requires separation! Extremely clean and well-maintained. The hot tub staff were there to ensure the hot tub was up to par - an absolute necessity! No complaints, except for one night when on the third floor some squirrels decided to throw a party in the walls and keep one couple awake for three hours. But that can happen. This home on Blueberry Hill is a beautiful home with lots of space and all the amenities. Everything was great, and the elevator was the cherry on top. I'd like to add, because it wasn't mentioned at all in the description of the property, that when the sun came out we had the most gorgeous view of the mountain out the front window. What a great bonus!! We loved staying here!

We had a great stay at Falcons Nest. The house was just as nice in person as it was in the photos. I appreciated that the house was well stocked. There were plenty of basic eating utensils and then everything one needed for cooking breakfast and dinners. The house was also supplied with paper goods, trash bags, and dish soap. Bathrooms had extra towels under the sink and shampoo and conditioner to get us started. The location was perfect. It was nice to be out of town and have a nice quiet house with great views. It was about a 5 minute drive to town and we loved having the in town parking pass. That was very handy. The Blueberry hiking trail is close by and the Valley trail biking trail is only a short distance away. Overall, it was a perfect house and I would recommend it to anyone looking to stay outside of Whistler proper, but sill close to everything.,

Several things that weren't perfect---1. Outdoor furniture was not out when we arrived and I had to call and ask for it. 2. Hot tub was cleaned our last afternoon, rendering it unusable 3. Carpet gave a very bad 1st impression--dingy--seems the owners need to upgrade for $$$ charged to rent it!! Otherwise excellent.

The Falcon's Nest was perfect for our family of 8; 3 couples and two children ages 3 and 5. We did not use one of the upstairs bedrooms though as the parents of the small children needed to be closer to them so they stayed in the bunk room on the lower level. The TV room/bath is right off this room so it was as if they had their own wing. (Parents did sleep in the bunk beds though) The spa was perfect, right outside the kitchen and the whole house was configured really well. Long story short...we would stay there again! Also, Whistler Platinum was very attentive and efficient in organizing our lift tickets, ski school, and rentals and ordering from Nestor's Market for a food delivery/stocking ahead of our arrival was awesome.

This house was very spacious and set at the end of a cul de sac with a ton of trees around. It kept it really cool even though it was 34+ degrees everyday that we were there. Awesome huge kitchen with a very large patio made meal time awesome.

Just 5 minutes away from Whistler Village and away from the hustle and bustle, just what we wanted for our 3 day trip. Falcon Nest was spacious and clean as advertised and the backyard was very private and surprisingly big. The place was big enough to keep all 5 of our kids from breathing each others' air. :-) The private parking access to Pan Pacific Whistler Mountainside was really useful as we made multiple trips into the village each day, located right at the base of the mountain. Overall a very nice place and we would come back again. Suggestion to owners: It would have been great if all the upper windows had screened windows, only one had a screen. Had to keep all the windows upstairs closed day and night because of bugs/mosquitoes, and the air got stuffy, not good in 30+ degrees. Note to renters: Would have been helpful to know there's no salt & pepper, only 3 coffee filters provided, no saran rap (It's possible I may have missed this notice in the rental listing but we assumed the basics would be provided). We ran out to shop for these right away but we could have easily brought them from home if we had known. We were actually more impressed with service from Whistler Platinum and their staff, from initial call before booking and until checkout. We took advantage of their concierge service to book multiple activities for 7 of us with different activities. They booked everything for us, we just showed up to the events and enjoyed. Awesome professional, courteous service, made our last minute booking/trip easy. Would definitely book all our Whistler trips via Whistler Platinum.

the home on Falcon Lane is spacious and works well for a large family. It is showing a lot of signs of wear and tear. Beds fine, furniture OK but kitchen very poorly stocked. Pans need replacing, no coffee maker filters supplied, no pasta strainer, knives very dull. Compared to other properties we've rented this was surprising and at little disapointing considering that this is a high end property. Could use a waffle iron, and at least a salt and pepper shaker. Would perhaps look a a newer property next time.

In regards to the comments on the kitchen inventory, we do our best to ensure that all of our kitchens are stocked to prepare most meals, and that there is enough kitchen wares for the total occupancy of the house plus an extra 2. This particular house has a set of high quality cast iron frying pans; cast iron pans do require some upkeep so we have gone in and seasoned them accordingly. We have also sharpened all of the knives and apologize that this was not attended to prior to your arrival. For future guests the home also has a knife sharpener in case you wish to fine tune them prior to cooking. We never provide items such as coffee filters or salt and pepper in our homes, and encourage all guests to bring their own, or contact us and we will gladly assist you in arranging groceries delivered to your door.
