We had such an amazing time at this VRBO! Location and quiet were our top priorities and this was 100% the ideal place. Fully stocked kitchen gadgets, bakeware, plates, etc. Steps from miles and miles of trails and the lake. Two minute walk to the Table Nineteen which had amazing food, outdoor patio overlooking the lake and the 9th tee. Amazing people and waitstaff. The people at Whistler Platinum were very responsive and professional each and every time we had a question or a need. Can't say enough about how thoughtful and accommodating they were to us. I will definitely be renting from them again. We will definitely be back! My only suggestion is to place a bench or chair in the mud room to enable the easy removal of shoes prior to entering the home. We found it a bit inconvenient to remove and put our shoes on while trying to balance on one foot. But something like that is easily resolved with a little piece of furniture. Other than that it was amazing!

This was a stunning house! Everything we needed was available to us. The whole house was extremely clean and well furnished. All the mattresses were comfortable, the garage was a great size for our cars, and the hot tub was a huge hit. We would gladly stay again.

We selected this property because the owner of the other property was indecisive of the dates of making their property available in 2024. This worked to our advantage because this home is much better. It is a modern home, bright, clean and the perfect layout. We loved the modern kitchen which was well stocked. This is important to us because we are foodies and love to cook. Beds are very comfortable with nice quality sheets, which was appreciated for a good nights rest after all day skiing fresh powder. Having plush and cozy robes for each guest is such a nice touch. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was the perfect layout for our group of four. We have a few suggestions for the owners. Add a bench or some type of seating in the entryway for sitting and taking off shoes and boots. Add a salad spinner in the kitchen and a set of glass bowls with lids for leftover foods. To add a sense of decor design for such an upscale home, add wall art/pictures. Restaurant suggestions are Araxi for dinner and Bearfoot for drinks. Also sushi village whistler is great for takeout.

We--a family of 8: grandparents, children, grandchildren--stayed in this home for our 50th Anniversary celebration. Lovely home well appointed with everything you would want. Fully stocked kitchen--you could cook a Thanksgiving dinner in this kitchen, no problem! Excellent appliances. Great location only a mile or so from the village grocery and shopping. You could easily ride a bike into town (you can easily ride a bike all over Whistler!) Quiet location on the golf course, lovely patio for barbecuing or sitting in the sun. Quiet! Plenty of room for gathering in living room and dining room. There is now a TV in the living room; we brought a TV but didn\'t need it after all. We had two minor issues during our stay, but a call to the front desk had them resolved quickly. Easy to reserve and communicate with Whistler Platinum and with the front desk. Can\'t say enough about this beautiful home!!

Excellent location, beautiful home. Great communication. Would certainly stay here again. The high end natural gas-powered BBQ grill was an awesome touch. We cooked a lot and its an excellent kitchen but could use some better pots/pans, knives, and other accessories. Consider bringing your own if you plan on cooking a ton. This is a highly functional space that's great for groups or families. The Whistler/Blackcomb parking lot is 6 minutes away. Excellent location.

We stayed in this townhouse in early February and loved it. The location is ideal, tucked away in a semi-private community abutting the Golf Course, and only 8 minutes away from Whistler Village. The house offers a grand living/dining room with vaulted ceiling and beautiful views over the golf course. From the upper deck and hot tub views of the peaks of Whistler & Blackcomb are spot on. Top it off with excellent service from the property management team and this house should be atop your list.

This property was ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS!!! Every detail was well thought out. Every item we needed was there. Do not skip this property over, it is a hidden gem just 5 minutes from everything you could possibly think of in Whistler. Weather didn\'t cooperate for skiing although there was some snow. Rain didn\'t keep us from doing activities outdoors and returning to the home and hanging our winter gear in the garage to dry over the heaters designed to dry them up was perfect. My family couldn\'t be happier with this home. It\'s beautifully renovated, top of the line appliances, very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Great spot, beautiful house in an amazing location. The AC broke during a heat wave, but they eventually fixed it. I thought the kitchen needed some essentials like salt and pepper, but maybe that was Covid related. The shower pressure was quite low which might be due to hard water. Just missing a couple things to make it so much better.

We have stayed at this unit numerous times and feel like this is home away from home. Even though this unit is about 17 yrs old it is still in wonderful condition and still feels and looks new. We love the location for cross country skiing and how quiet it is. We bought our 2 grand children this year and we felt completely safe to let them play outside and they had a blast.

Quick 7 minute drive to the mountain. Place was immaculate and stocked with all the essential kitchen items. Huge table for large groups, great hot tub, TV in the common area despite condo pics. Check in/out process could not have been easier. Highly recommend for ski vacations with large groups of around 8.

We visit a week every three years and stay at a different house each time. This is our third stay. The house was large enough to accommodate many more than the six of us. So many bathrooms! We used all of the kitchen and found it to be sufficient. We loved having the laundry. The bathrobes were perfect for the Jacuzzi. The garage fit both of our SUVs, and we loved the boot dryer. The only thing that was a slight issue was that we would really like to see a better internet situation as it could not seem to accommodate more than two of us working on any device in the evenings after riding, while we were waiting on dinner. It would hang for several minutes sometimes. We are all freelancers. We work remotely. Good internet is very important to us in each of our stays. The platinum staff were great. Service was spotless as usual. Thank you for the welcome gift! So thoughtful. We look forward to our next stay in 2022!

We rented this house for our 50th Anniversary vacation celebration. Perfect for 8 people.Well laid-out house plan provided places for privacy and for group activities. Kitchen had everything--you could cook a whole Thanksgiving dinner in that kitchen! House is clean, furniture is comfortable, patio is lovely (except for mosquitoes!), all appliances are high-end. Can't say enough about this beautiful house! By the way--the description I read said no TV in the living room, but there was a large flat screen by the fireplace. Also Bose radio/CD player, lots of classical favorites CD's. Huge dining room table for meals and games. This place was perfect for us!

Visiting Whistler from Australia, we had our first family snow holiday in January. Everything was perfect. The Goldenwood house was beautiful in every way. Spacious, immaculate and welcoming. Very professional organization - emails before we arrived and on the day to remind us of where to check in, lift tickets we bought with rental were all set. We ordered groceries from Nesters which arrived when we did. The Den Restaurant and pub was 2 minutes walk away. Loved the hot tub. Kitchen was one of best stocked with pots/pans that we have stayed in. New, huge washer/dryer was helpful. Underfloor heating in tiled floors downstairs dried out ski boots - also in bathrooms. Five minute drive to Whistler village - easy to get a taxi when we when out in the evening and didn't want to drive. Great views of the mountains and the ski slopes when it stopped snowing (50 inches of snow the week we were there so skiing was awesome!)

We had a lovely time staying at Goldenwood 8337. The house was clean, warmly decorated, comfy furniture and lovely views of the golf course (with a peak-a-boo view of the lake). Hot tub and heated floors were wonderful! Kitchen was very nicely appointment with everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. One thing that needs improvement is the TV / DVD situation. There was no TV / DVD player in the main living room. The only TVs in the house were old / poor quality and were in the master bedroom (would be odd to have the whole family up in the Master bedroom) and another one in the Den (room was too small for more than 2-3 people to watch a movie comfortably). Neither were in a good location for our family to watch a movie together. Would highly recommend a flat screen for the family room. Other than that, we had a lovely time! The BOSE radio and classical CD's were a lovely find! So nice to have some music.

We rented the property to attend our son's wedding at Nicklaus North. It was PERFECT! The townhouse accommodated our family, friends dropped by and overall we had a wonderful time. The only hesitation I would have is that the patio is prone to the odd wayward golf ball, so beware.

Maintenance issues; Dishwasher didn't work, back door didn't close, light in master suite in bathroom wouldn't turn off. These probably should be taken care of before others rent. Property is great, but washing dishes the entire time of the stay was a bit of pain.

Prior to arriving in Whistler we called ahead as instructed to do. The guest staff was very welcoming, professional, and gave simple directions to their check in desk. Check in was very easy, simple direct directions for use of the property and in under 5 mins we were escorted to the home by one of the staff - which made locating the property seamless. Upon arriving at the home we were given instructions on how to use all of the features including the grill, hot tub etc, and were asked if everything was to our liking. We were also told if we had any questions the front desk was staffed 24 hours and to just call anytime! The condition of the home is wonderful and what you'd expect at a 4.5 or 5 star hotel (i.e Four Seasons). All surfaces were exceptionally clean, even the garage and laundry room. More so than a hotel room! The community is very quiet and there are ample walking trails, cc ski trails outside the house. There is also a large yard and patio area that our son enjoyed playing on. We simply don't have anything bad to say about our experiance. A couple very minor points would be we couldn't find any oven mits in the kitchen and there are no towel hooks or bars in the bath rooms. Also, as others have indicated, the lighting in the master bedroom is VERY dim but not a huge deal. Bottom line, if you want a 5 star experience in Whistler, I would recommend Whistler Patinum!

We had two families sharing the house with young kids. It was a great arrangement for kids, and lots of space for them to play during the day. Only downside is the distance to the village, but the scenery is beautiful and the space was great. It was an easy drive into the lifts.

It was a little odd to us that the bedroom adjacent to the bathroom upstairs had twin beds instead of the queen, but it worked out fine. The only issue that I have to complain is the kitchen, there is not enough appliance as glasses, kinfes, spoons, trays, etc.. Very dificult to cook for more that 6 people with what you found there. However everything was almost perfect, I´ll be back next year. Regards

If you're not going to stay in the village this is the way to go - great house - easily slept 8. We used the grill and the hot tub nearly every day. Nice to come home to a house as opposed to a hotel room. Definitely the way to go for large groups. The heated floors and fireplaces were awesome.
