Hearthstone Lodge 3

My husband and I rarely feel at home with majority of the airbnbs we stayed but this condo is definitely a place that we want to come back to, and that we want our friends to experience as well. It’s very comfortable, exactly the right size for us with our kids, very nicely furnished and equipped. The check-in was smooth (good clear directions) and we really appreciate being able to get into the condo without wait. The location is great both with respect to town and the lifts.

The condo was exactly like the photos, perfect in every way.
The fireplace was fantastic, and the host provided wood, a nice treat.
The kitchen was better equipped than expected, very nice!

We absolutely LOVED this condo! It was cozy, the location was PERFECT and it had everything we needed! Super clean and I felt right at home! We will definitely stay here again! If I had ONE con it would be the sheets were not comfy. Highly recommend upgrading to a nicer sheet!! And pillows but otherwise it was awesome!

The chalet was really good. Amazing location and the wooden look made it feel like a Swiss chalet.
Host were communicative and we appreciated the gourmet chocolate they set for us.

La ubicación es magnífica. El sauna y jacuzzi, muy buenos. El espacio de estacionamiento muy fácil de ubicar y cómodo. La cocina muy bien equipada. Justo en el piso de abajo está un super muy bien surtido y una vinatería Podría tener alguna renovación, pero no es urgente. We enjoyed a perfect stay at Heartstone Lodge #3. It is charmingly decorated in wood decor and comfy furniture. Beds are excellent. We have been to Whistler many times and always with a vehicle. This visit we did not have a vehicle and faired extremely well without one. We have never stayed so central to the village before and loved it!. This location is a short walk to all the fabulous restaurants the village has to offer. It is also a short walk to most lifts and trails. We were able to walk around all the lakes in the Valley and up the Blackcomb and Whistler mountain trails from town. Fabulous! The balcony is huge and boasts a personal hot tub, which is an excellent value added feature to this stay. We made good use of it in the cool May long weekend weather. We also enjoyed the fireplace while watching the hockey playoffs. Again, a value added feature and much appreciated as we woke to snow on our last day. The balcony is open to the Village Square and can be quite lively some nights. Some may find it noisy, but with windows closed there was no issue for us. We enjoyed being in the centre of town and seeing the crowds, the skiers/snowboarders on the last open weekend and all the mountain bikers going through town. Would highly recommend this condo and would happily stay here again. Thanks to all who made our stay easy and seamless.

Just back from a 4 night stay. Great location, walk to the slopes and restaurants all around. Right above the grocery store was very convenient. Hot tub on the deck at the end of the day was a definite plus. Had 3 adults and a little challenging with the top bunk for an adult but would be great for kids. Staff was very responsive to questions. I would rent this unit again in the future.

Good spot, 5 minute walk from the lifts in the main village and listing matched the space. There was a small grocery store in the same building which was very nice. Fair warning to light sleepers, if you're in the bedroom near the outside you'll probably get woken up when the bars let out each night but I don't think that would be any different from any other spot in the main village - worth it for the lift proximity in my view.

Great location adjacent to The Stroll and above the village grocery and liquor store. Charming rustic decor. Hot tub was delightful to sink into after a day skiing. Fireplace, wine, snow finally falling outside. What’s not to love?

The access to the grocery store is a big plus, and I think young families might benefit from the location, which is more about Village access than ski in/ski out. Hot tub & sauna were good, but for us the noise and cigarette smoke coming up from outside at all hours was an issue. Kitchen was great, but sheets and pillows were very low grade and not very comfortable. Be prepared for all the stairs from ski storage!

Great location and the hot tub was clutch after a long day of riding. Unit was clean, would rent this condo again next time we visit Whistler. Only issue is that we didn’t realize until our 2nd day that there was an air conditioner unit in the corner cabinet. So the first night was pretty warm. Once we got that going it was comfortable.

Very comfortable condo and amazing location ! So nice to see the action in the village and the great view of Blackcomb Mountain from the balcony & hot tub! Access your own wine cellar downstairs (BC liquor store!) or pick up groceries on your way up. Kitchen is very well equipped. Living room & bedrooms are comfortable. Highly recommend this condo!

Close to the gondola base but not too close to be kept up all night by music. The view of the mountain and the square from the balcony hot tub was great. The unit was clean and comfy and had everything you need. Guest services was super responsive and accommodating.

The unit was perfect for three adult travellers that were there to ski, but also be in the aprés action. No need for a car once we were there as the liquor and grocery store were literally in the building. The hot tub was well cared for and stayed balanced while we were there with one scheduled servicing. Communications with WP was consistent and constant. We would suggest changing the spring mattresses to memory foam,... we felt every single movement. There than that the place was cozy, and perfect.

The first impression of the property isn't the best, the stairwell and doors leading to the floors are very rundown and in need of some maintenance (warped wallpaper, duct tape over keypads etc.). Once we were in the condo, it was a different story, well cleaned, appointed and stocked. The space and layout was perfect for our small family (2 adults, 1 child). We really appreciated having the private hot tub and sauna after days of skiing and boarding. The only issue was that the unit got very warm, even with all the heaters off. We had to keep the slider door open most of the time to keep it cool enough to sleep. The location was great and the unit offered everything we needed.

Perfect unit for father/son Spring Break trip. Location cannot be beat for convenience and proximity to Gondola/lifts. Hot Tub was a lifesaver and made for some great people/dog watching. Grocery store right downstairs was really convenient. If you want to be in the middle of it all this is a good one. Would definitely stay again.

The deco made this very well located condo feel like a chalet! Everything we needed was in the condo, the sauna and hot tub were the cherry on top. In the heart of the main village with a grocery store and liquor store right downstairs. We will be back this summer or next winter for sure!

Location right in the village where all the action is. The hot tub on the deck was amazing! Plus you can see all the people going by. Grocery and liquor store right in the building below. Everyone has been so nice here in Whistler. The Keg was so good to us. Travelling with our special needs son. Can’t say enough good things about the staff up there. Good job Whistler.

This was my first time in Whistler and this place was perfect to have. we were able to explore the village at our leisure and enjoy the wonderful restaurants. There is a grocery store on the bottom floor which is perfect as well.
The space has so many wonderful amenities that staying in is just as fun as walking through the village. Any questions we had were answered promptly and clearly. I intend to come back here again some day.

This condo was a great fit for our family of 5. As other reviewers have noted, the property is a bit worn around the edges, but everything worked just fine. The location is very convenient to amenities and lifts. The private hot tub was a huge bonus. Can't say enough good things about Whistler Platinum, the team took great care of us from start to finish.
