Stoneridge #27 is a slopeside one-level townhome with two bedrooms and two bathrooms located on Blackcomb Mountain just above the Upper Village. Conveniently, Stoneridge is on the free shuttle route or a short 10-minute walk along the Fitzsimmons Trail to the main Village and Whistler Mountain.

Ski Access

The ski-out trail at the end of the Stoneridge complex (snow conditions permitting) leads to Merlin's Run on Blackcomb Mountain and down to the new Blackcomb Gondola. The trail is relatively flat but the easiest way to access the mountain. Ski home via this trail by exiting Merlin's Run to the right just before the Woodrun Lodge. Ski access typically begins in late December and ends in March. The Guest Services team can confirm snow levels shortly before arrival.

Guest Access

Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. Parking is available in a covered carport, suitable for one small vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.

The Neighbourhood

Stoneridge sits in Whistler’s Benchlands, a quiet, forested neighbourhood with sweeping mountain views. The complex offers a peaceful retreat while still providing convenient access to the free Village Shuttle, which stops nearby and connects you to Whistler Village, shops, restaurants, and gondolas. Skiers at an intermediate level can enjoy access to Lower Merlin’s Run, while everyone can take advantage of nearby Valley Trail paths for walking or cycling. It’s a serene base for a relaxed alpine getaway with easy connections to the village amenities.

• 10-minute walk to Blackcomb Gondola

• 25-minute walk to Fresh Street grocery store
• 10-minute walk to Chateau Fairmont Golf Course

Parking was easy, the location to the slopes was convenient with maybe a 4 minute walk before strapping in and riding down. Having the hot tub off the deck was also a nice perk.

Wonderful slopeside condo
This unit is wonderful. Two aging ski bums had a fabulous week exploring the two mountains. As described, it's ski in down a short path from the slope, and a very quick walk back to the slope in the morning. Blackcomb village is at the bottom of the run, just a couple of hundred yards from the condo - you can walk down and back easily. Plus, there's a great free bus system. The number 5 route has a stop across the street which takes you straight to Whistler Village. The bus runs every 15 - 30 minutes all the way to 1am. The unit has a private parking stall and we left the car there all week. The unit is well laid out and has everything you'll need: 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, separate living and dining areas, well equipped kitchen, and an entry way with a bench to gear up or off, and lots of hooks and a shelf for drying and storing it all (which keeps the living area uncluttered). There's a real fireplace with firelogs supplied. The TV supports all major streaming services (you need to login your accounts). And the hot tub (4 person) is a lifesaver after a day on the hill. Oh, and a washer / drier in the closet! It's an incredibly versatile place to stay. You can hang out in the unit, cook, watch movies, soak in the tub, or catch the bus into town for dining, nightlife, and shopping. It would be perfect for a family of 4 - the second bedroom has a nice bunk for 2 kids (I slept in the lower and was very comfortable). Or two parties (singles like us, or couples). Finally, Whistler Platinum is great. Good communication - let us know what was next at every step. They texted me updates over the week we were there - even responding to my texts in the evening. Amazing. I've never seen a place that checks all of the boxes like this one. I am definitely coming back with my family, and the rest of my ski bum friends.

Wonderful place!!
The name of the listing says it all: Very cozy, great hot tub, just off Blackcomb runs, private parking spot. The open layout is a wonderfully interesting 3 split levels that creates separate but connected spaces (LR, Kitchen/Dining, Entry). The hot tub fits 4 and is well maintained. The two bedrooms are well suited to a family with 2 kids. And also worked great for 2 old ski bums. The LR has a real fireplace with firelogs supplied. Beds are comfortable. The entry way is set up with a bench for changing out of gear, with tons of hooks to dry things off. The small washer and drier are a bonus. OK, so it's definitely ski in. But that only works one way. The out direction required a very short walk back up the path - not a problem. Transportation is amazing. It's not even a 10 minute walk (down the ski run) to the Blackcomb base. Another 10 minutes along the festive walkways gets you to Whistler Villiage. And, there's a bus stop right across the street for the free shuttle that runs every 15 - 20 minutes into Whistler (hint - it's the number 5 route). Super easy to get around. The property managers (Whistler Platinum) are fabulous. They texted me information over our stay and were always available for questions. Our 5 day ski trip was the best I've ever had at a destination resort. The unit had everything we needed. The villages are amazing. The mountains are incredible and the skiing will please or challenge anyone. We'll be back here for sure!

This was our first time in Whistler and the accommodations did not disappoint! We usually go to Steamboat Springs, Colorado but it’s gotten way to expensive. We were able to get a stellar accommodation with ski in and ski out for half of what we pay in Steamboat and the ski options were exponentially better. We also loved having our own private hot tub and it wasn’t bad being off the resort beaten path. The kitchen was also extremely well appointed, and one of the better Airbnb that we have ever rented as I do like to try to cook a lot. One recommendation for these Airbnb is that they might want to include an air fryer which is completely nice and not necessary, but it allows Cooking that doesn’t involve the stove. The one and only challenge with the unit is walls and ceiling are thin. Lots of sounds of ski boots above. lol just bring wine and ear plugs to drown out noise. We hope to be back!

Great place to stay! Very clean and cozy space. Loved the private hot tub on the deck outside. Ski in/out access and walkable to the village or a bus stop just outside! Very responsive and helpful and everything was as listed. Kitchen is fully stocked with cookware and more than enough towels and bedding. My only complaint would be a later check out, I'm used to 11-12 for a check out and this one was 10am which is a bit too early. Other than that, excellent place!

Loved this place, clean, hot tub was great. Perhaps a nice touch would have been a couple servings of coffee for the first morning since we were first timers to the location. However, we drove past a couple of markets so that’s more on us. Great location.

A really well appointed space and a great location. With easy access to Blackcomb runs, it is great for travel with kids or those who just want to get to the hot tub minutes after the last run of the day.
The space was really clean and check-in as well as check-out were really easy with near instant responses to any questions from the hosts.
Unit itself is laid out really well. We were a group of 5 and no time we were bumping into each other. One of nicer units I stayed at in the area for sure.

Stone Ridge is a fantastic location on Blackcomb. #27 is a nicely appointed space, especially appreciated in the kitchen. Whistler Platinum does a nice job of managing it, and were both prompt and friendly. The cleaning fee is significant, in the time of COVID, probably appropriate.

Great Location!
We loved staying here! The way it is laid out makes it seem much larger than it is. Having two bathrooms was also very nice. The bed could probably use some updating soon, not terribly comfortable, but we still slept well. The bedding was good quality, and there were plenty of towels. The large dining room table would have been lovely for entertaining. The hot tub was such a nice place to retreat to after a big day of biking. I would love to stay here again next time we visit.

Great Whistler Get Away!
We loved this place and the complex it was in. Very easy walk down to the village, about 8 min if you go down wizard trail and through Blackcomb. A couple things I would do to improve: include coffee and tea, and possibly saran wrap/ tinfoil. It would be nice to add a BBQ too! Guest services were great and easy to check-in and out of. Bedrooms were nice and cozy, heated floors were a nice touch, we would definitely be back!

Great stay
We had a wonderful week in Whistler. The location of Stoneridge is excellent for ski in. Not bad for ski out either just a 5 min walk in the spring. Excellent location for the free shuttle which our teenagers were able to use on their own. Hot tub was wonderful. Street is seen from hot tub. Lots of beautiful trees around. There is a unit above this one. We had a crew of young men there while we were there. They were polite but loud. We used white noise to drown out their partying and were ok.

This unit is a bit small, but quite functional. There is no bathroom in the master suite, one is on the "main" floor and one upstairs by the entry. Would have been nice to have a BBQ, like some other units have. Overall the place is nice and a good value.

Great place of the most part
Everything about the rental was great...except that you can hear the neighbors pretty clearly from the master bedroom. There was one night that we had to call security to ask the guest to keep it down. After they left the other tenants were not nearly as loud and we didn't have any further problems.

Awesome family ski trip!
