Set in Whistler’s Taluswood neighborhood above Creekside, this 2,600 sq ft standalone chalet offers a peaceful mountain setting with ski-out access to the nearby Dave Murray Olympic downhill run. Snow-covered forest surrounds the home in winter, creating a quiet backdrop while still placing you close to Creekside’s gondola, restaurants, and shops. Large decks open toward views of Whistler Mountain’s peak and glacier, offering a scenic place to pause between mountain adventures.
Living and comfort
Inside, the main level connects the living area, dining space, and kitchen beneath vaulted ceilings and wide windows that frame the surrounding alpine landscape. An indoor fireplace adds warmth after a day outdoors, while heating and portable fans help maintain comfort throughout the home. Radiant in-floor heating runs throughout the chalet, and air conditioning cools the upper floors when needed. A TV provides relaxed evening entertainment, and Wifi along with a dedicated workspace makes it easy to stay connected during your stay.
Sleeping arrangements
The chalet accommodates up to eight guests across four bedrooms. The primary suite occupies the entire upper level with a king bed, walk-in wardrobe, private balcony, and a 4-piece ensuite featuring a freestanding tub, shower, and double vanity. On the lower level, the second bedroom includes a king bed and its own ensuite bathroom. The third bedroom offers a queen bed with convenient access toward the deck and hot tub area, while the fourth bedroom also features a queen bed and closet space. A shared jack-and-jill bathroom serves the additional bedrooms. Bathroom essentials, clothing storage, and laundry facilities are available for convenience.
Kitchen and dining
The kitchen provides a full kitchen where guests can prepare meals before or after time on the mountain. Stainless appliances and ample counter space make cooking easy, while the dining table and breakfast bar create a natural place to gather. Coffee maker, wine glasses, and a toaster help start the morning comfortably before heading out for the day.
Outdoor spaces
Expansive decks extend the living space outdoors even during colder months. The hot tub on the lower deck offers a peaceful place to unwind while surrounded by forest views. A patio or balcony with outdoor furniture creates additional space to take in the mountain air between activities.
Practical amenities
The home includes a washer, dryer, and essentials to support longer stays. Guests have access to a private entrance, free parking garage on premises, and self check-in using a smart lock.
Neighborhood
Taluswood is known for its quiet alpine setting and direct trail access for intermediate-level skiers connecting to the Creekside Gondola. In winter, the surrounding landscape becomes a gateway to skiing and snow-covered trails, while the nearby Creekside area provides restaurants, cafés, and local shops just a short drive away.
Ski access is dependent on weather and snow conditions, and may vary each season. Typically, ski access is available from late December to late March. Our Guest Services team can confirm snow levels before your arrival upon request.
Guest Access
Guests will have full, private access to the residence, including all bedrooms, bathrooms, living areas, and the patio or balcony. A private hot tub is available for your exclusive use. A private garage provides parking for one vehicle. Check-in is contactless, with entry provided via a unique door code. Detailed check-in instructions will be sent prior to arrival.
The Neighbourhood
Taluswood is perched high on Whistler Mountain in the peaceful Nordic neighbourhood, offering a quiet, forested setting with sweeping mountain views. With direct access to ski trails leading to Creekside, it’s ideal for intermediate skiers and snowboarders looking for a true slopeside experience. In summer, guests enjoy nearby hiking and biking trails, along with the serenity of being above the bustle of the village. Due to its secluded location, Taluswood is best suited for guests with a vehicle. While there’s no public transit in the immediate area, Creekside’s shops, restaurants, and gondola are just a short drive away, making it easy to enjoy both nature and convenience.

• Strictly no parties or events. To respect our neighbors, we have a strict no-party policy in this home
• Quiet hours. Whistler municipal bylaw states that quiet hours are between 10 pm and 8 am
• No smoking on the premises. This includes patios, decks, and hot tubs
• Not pet-friendly. No pets are permitted in this home
• Vehicle restriction. Trailers and other recreational vehicles such as ATV's, Snowmobiles, Watercraft of any kind, RV's, campers are not permitted in the complex.
